How to Unlock Timon
Finding Old Friends
Once you hit level ten with Simba and Nala, talk to Simba to receive the Finding Old Friends quest. In this quest, you’ll head to the Dream Castle and enter The Lion King Realm to locate Timon and Pumbaa.
Upon your arrival, Timon and Pumbaa will give you hakuna matata lessons to help you unwind. You’ll learn to let go of the past and embrace a more laid-back vibe during your first day in the jungle.
Relax!
On your second day in the jungle, you’ll mostly team up with Pumbaa as you unwind and discover the best nap spots in the vibrant surroundings. You’ll get to craft a hammock to relax in too! In the Relax! quest, you will need to take a nap and enjoy some mud play.
Once completed, Pumbaa will show you how to make Roasted Jungle Fireflies. With a satisfied appetite and a completed checklist, you’ll be well on your way to fully embracing the hakuna matata lifestyle.
Where’s Pumbaa?
As your third day in the jungle begins, Pumbaa has gone missing. Join Timon in searching for him, and you’ll find Pumbaa stuck in a log near the oasis. No matter how hard you try, he won’t budge. Timon will ask you to gather bugs and turn them into a super slippery bug oil, but you’ll need further assistance.
Return to the valley and chat with Goofy for advice. He’ll give you a plunger that requires reinforcement. Once it’s ready, head back to the oasis and use it to free Pumbaa from the log.
Talk to Timon at camp to prepare for the journey home. They’ll be excited to follow you to the village, starting with Pumbaa, and then Timon will come along.
Unlike other villagers, you won’t need to build a house for Timon. He’ll be living with Simba and Nala.
How to Unlock More of Timon’s Quests
To unlock more quests with Timon, you need to increase your friendship level with him. You can do this by engaging in daily chats, playing Scramblecoin, giving gifts, and spending time together while completing your regular tasks.
Purified Night Shards provide a nice boost in friendship points!
You can give as many gifts as you want, but only three of his favorite items will yield a bonus each day.
You can also serve meals at either Chez Remy or Tiana’s Palace to Timon to earn extra friendship points. This helps you achieve multiple goals, such as accumulating friendship points while completing Dreamlight and Star Path Duties simultaneously.
Every few levels, you’ll unlock a new quest alongside your rewards. Once you reach level ten, you can begin Timon’s best friend quest, which rewards you with a unique outfit inspired by The Lion King!
Timon Friendship Rewards
Each time you raise your friendship level with Timon, a new reward will become available. These rewards vary from clothing items to furniture, motifs, and Star Coins.
Timon’s level ten friendship quest is the only way to obtain the final item!
