UNICEF, the United Nations agency dedicated to the welfare of children, has appointed Pakistani actress Saba Qamar as the first National Child Ambassador for Pakistan.

In her recent Instagram post, Saba Qamar shared heartwarming moments she experienced with children, stating, “I met some truly wonderful people this week and had amazing experiences. I have so many stories to tell! More coming soon!”

She expressed her commitment to advocating for children’s welfare through UNICEF and thanked the organization for this incredible opportunity. This marks the first time UNICEF has chosen a National Ambassador focused on children’s issues in Pakistan.

As the Ambassador for Children’s Welfare, Saba Qamar will address children’s challenges both on national and international stages under UNICEF’s guidance. She has long been an advocate against violence and exploitation of children and women, frequently speaking out in her social media posts and performances.
