Guide to Endings in SAO: Fatal Bullet

Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet features several endings that ultimately lead to the game’s true conclusion. To unlock achievements effectively before diving into New Game+, experiencing each ending is crucial.

There are a total of three endings: two unfavorable and one favorable. In order to access the true ending, you must first undergo both unfavorable endings.

TIP: The bad endings are inherent to the game and are unavoidable.

After finishing the two unfavorable endings, speed through the game to fulfill the necessary criteria for the true ending. Each bad ending rewards you with an achievement.

How to Achieve the Bad Ending?

To attain the bad endings, you must opt to save Kureha during the final mission in SAO Fatal Bullet. This choice leads to Zeliska’s demise and results in a bad ending.

How to Unlock the True Ending?

To unlock the true ending, ensure all original members from SAO Fatal Bullet (Arfasys, Kureha, Zeliska, Itsuki, and Bazalt Joe) reach an Affection Level of 4 at 75%. After achieving this, the original SAO characters like Kirito, Asuna, Primiere, Sinon, Philia, Rain, and Strea should be increased to Affection Level 2, and all their event scenes need to be viewed.

TIP

Ensure that you finish Mother Claudia only after you’ve raised the affection levels.

Next, obtain the Afasys Amulet following the completion of Kirito Mode. Be cautious not to advance to the next Main Quest immediately after completing Kirito Mode. With the Amulet, defeat the final boss and dodge its hyper beam; your quest will transition from Dead All to Fatal Bullet upon equipping the Nervegear. This signifies you are on track to discover the True Ending.
