Enjoy Tailored Culinary Experiences
Samsung Food is a comprehensive food platform accessible on various devices from Samsung, including but not limited to home appliances. With Samsung Food+, the premium subscription service, users can enhance their experience by integrating personal health profiles and goals, leading to customized meal plans and recipe recommendations. The recent addition of AI elevates the functionality, offering unique experiences to users worldwide.
To streamline meal preparation, Samsung is introducing Vision AI technology for Samsung Food+, allowing users to simply take a picture of their food items with their smartphones to add them to their Food List. This new feature enables users of Bespoke refrigerators with Family Hub™ displays, even those without AI Vision Inside, to quickly update their Food List by using photos.
Additional benefits of the Samsung Food+ subscription include the automatic addition of purchased ingredients to the Food List during checkout, whether in-store or online, as well as the ability to search for recipes based on the items in the Food List. Users will receive reminders to utilize ingredients before their set expiration dates, which aids in reducing food waste.
Moreover, Samsung Food+ offers meal plans tailored to users’ Food Lists, promoting sustainable eating practices by prioritizing ingredients that are nearing their expiration. The new “Search with Your Food List” feature displays recipes that primarily utilize the ingredients found in a user’s Food List, making meal planning straightforward and efficient. Recommendations are aligned with items used from the Food List, which seamlessly integrates into the Shopping List, ensuring that inventory is managed effectively and food waste is minimized while delivering delicious meals.

Achieve Health Objectives with Customized Meal Plans
Samsung Food is also enhancing its functionalities to assist users in maintaining their health and achieving wellness goals. The platform offers nutrition-oriented meal plans that track caloric intake based on daily meal schedules, whether it be for recipes or individual food items. It features “Tailored for You” plans that provide weekly recipe options and snack suggestions aligned with users’ dietary needs, selected diets, and previous cooking preferences. Additionally, the system monitors macronutrient consumption throughout daily meal plans, enabling users to set personalized calorie and macronutrient targets suited to their health goals. While regular users receive three days’ worth of recommendations weekly, Samsung Food+ subscribers enjoy a comprehensive week of tailored suggestions, accommodating the manually set expiration dates of their ingredients.
