Microsoft has announced that they have started keyboard and mouse support for Xbox cloud gaming in March, and it is finally rolling out to almost everyone as a beta feature today.
You will be able to play Xbox games with a keyboard and a mouse in Chrome or Safari by going to xbox.com/play.
Around 26 games will be supported at the launch of this feature, these games include Fortnite, Sea of Thieves as well as Halo Infinite. Microsoft is also allowing PC users to use the Xbox app later in May 2024 to choose a game that has a keyboard and mouse badge in the cloud gaming section.
We tried the keyboard and mouse support at the start of 2024 on Xbox Cloud Gaming and it works exactly as if you’re playing a game on the PC. You can easily switch between using a controller or using a keyboard and mouse, even in the middle of games, this also includes the Xbox console as well. It is an incredible value addition for gaming on the go, especially if you no longer bring an Xbox controller with you to play games.
